The Newfoundland Club of New England, Inc. is a Regional Club of the Newfoundland Club of America (NCA).

The NCA developed and maintains a breed standard and publishes other information about the breed like health issues and Taking Care of Your Newf.

Other Newfoundland dog clubs of interest are the Newfoundland Dog Club of Canada (NDCC) and The Newfoundland Club (United Kingdom), which has links to other major Newfoundland dog clubs in the world.

The NCA is a member club of the American Kennel Club and the NDCC is a member club of the Canadian Kennel Club.

The NCA is the parent organization of a large number of regional clubs. The regional clubs also provide a place for new owners to get together and share problems and solutions.
